Pilots used to worry about mid-air collisions. That was the only thing we worried about because we had everything else under control.

Small airplanes are so small that they are hard to see until they are close. When a small plane is coming toward you head on, the closure speed is between 350 and 400 MPH, There isn’t much time to react.
